We had a ball with Cinderella at the Belgrade Panto

Wow! Wow! Wow! Iain Lauchlan has smashed it again with Cinderella as this year’s Belgrade Panto!

A trip to the Belgrade panto has been a fixture in my family’s Christmas schedule for a while now and last night certainly didn’t disappoint. A fabulous cast, amazing costumes and a whole lot of laughs. The familiar faces of Iain Lauchlan and Craig Hollingsworth are like old friends welcomed back for a long awaited visit.

Having two dames fulfilling the roles of the ugly sisters adds a hilarious dynamic. They play off each other brilliantly and had us in stitches.

The audience interaction dotted throughout the performance was timed and scripted perfectly. We cringed as audience members were ‘picked on’ and laughed with them as their roles in the evening played out. (My threats to ‘volunteer’ my 15 year old son next year were not met with an enthusiastic response!!)

As always the whole cast from the main characters to the junior ensemble were top notch.

The Belgrade Panto, Cinderella, runs all the way through to the 13 January so there is still plenty of time to get your tickets and take your family along.
