What’s On for Fathers’ Day?

Saturday 17th June
Touchwood, Solihull – Father’s Day Goal Shoot-out
Join us in Theatre Square over Father’s Day weekend for an incredible goal shoot-out competition. Prepare to showcase your footwork skills and compete against Touchwood’s stilt-walking goalie and referee, as you vie for a chance to win a range of amazing prizes. But that’s not all! Dads will also have the opportunity to ‘Spin the Wheel’ on Crescent Arcade, for an exciting chance to win additional prizes and add to the excitement of the day.

Warwick Arts Centre – Football Freddie
A warm and witty new show for children and their grown-ups about football, team-work and the joy of joining in. Football Freddie tells the story of Freddie Farren, a little girl who loves football but is too nervous to join in a game in her local park. Out of a magical photograph steps Freddie’s Great-Great-Great Uncle Fred, a real footballer from the olden days. Uncle Fred takes Freddie back in time and they re-live footballing glories of old. With Uncle-Fred’s encouragement, Freddie renews her confidence and enthusiasm and everyone joins in a good old-fashioned kick around. Football Freddie is a magical new show for children and their families. The production features playful storytelling, friendly audience participation and integrated audio description alongside original sound design and vibrant set and costumes.

This Father’s Day we are offering FREE entry to all Fathers and Grandfathers when visiting with another paying guest (1 free entry for every 1 paying ticket on Sunday 18th June only)
