Look no further, here are some FREE Children’s activities at Stourbridge Library to enjoy over the festive season:

The children’s section at the library is a haven for kids of all ages to come and enjoy themselves. There are books, story sacks, and games available to them. It is a great way to introduce your child to the world of reading and learning.

The library provides many different activities for children, including but not limited to the very popular ‘Rattle and Rhyme’ sessions. There is always something going on that will keep your child entertained.

Library staff are very knowledgeable in what they do and will be able to suggest books that would be appropriate for your child’s age group.

Here are the dates that Stourbridge Library are putting on Christmas crafts for the children to enjoy (no booking required):

Saturday 26th November 1:00pm-3:00pm

Sunday 27th November 11:00am-12:00pm

Saturday 3rd December 11:00am-1:00pm

Sunday 4th December 11:00am-12:00pm

Saturday 17th December 11:00-1:00pm

Sunday 18th December 11:00-12:00

Monday 19th December 11:00-1:00

Tuesday 20th December 11:00-1:00

Thursday 22nd December 11:00-1:00

Saturday 31st December 11:00-1:00pm

 

To give an idea of the kind of activities that will take place, on 26th November Stourbridge Library are taking place in the Christmas lights switch on and will get the children attending the library that day, into the festive spirit by making Christmas cards between 1pm – 3pm

 

In addition, these look great activities to attend too:

Games club (board games) – every Saturday 1:00pm-3:00pm (no booking required)

Ozobots (coding robot activity) Sunday 11th December 10:30am-1:00pm (no booking required)
