The Newcastle Allotment & Garden Show is back in Leazes Park for 2022! This September Urban Green Newcastle are bringing growers from across the region together to show off their best produce. It’s a great community event with a wide range of activities and entertainment for the whole family.

The show is open to the public from 11am-4pm on Sunday 18 September. The day will be jam-packed, giving everyone the chance to admire the fantastic efforts of the entrants, visit stalls celebrating the best in local produce and get stuck in with growing themed workshops.

Throughout the day you can also enjoy a whole host of entertainment. This inlcudes live music performances in the bandstand, talks from experts in Beekeeping, Climate Change, and hints and tips on growing your own produce, and Yoga or Tai Chi in the Wellbeing Zone. Plus a variety of community stalls and food and drink vendors including event supporters Ringtons.

There’s plenty for the kids to get stuck into as well, with rides on a mini-fairground, unique creative activities with the Beelines North East team and Curious Arts, and facepainting!
