Our aim is to offer a fun filled, challenging yet rewarding training in dance, drama, singing and stage craft. These disciplines will improve performance techniques as well as developing confidence and articulation. TOP HAT schools are held at weekends during term time. Students attend for either two hours for children aged 4 and 5 years or three hours for children ages 6 and upwards. Children and young adults aged 6 and over are divided into groups according to their age. This ensures that groups are never too large and that each child is able to thrive and achieve their full potential under the expert eyes of our teaching staff.
TOP HAT weekend stage schools are held at weekends, during school term time. There are 2 separate groups, our Tiny Toppers (4 - 5 years) and our Top Hatters (6-17 years).
Students aged 4 and 5 years old (Tiny Toppers) attend a 2-hour session where will be introduced to a variety of different activities including: dance (Tap as well as Jazz); drama, singing and music & movement. The classes will help in developing self-confidence, discipline, team-building and new creative skills. The classes are ideal in channelling all that creative energy your little ones may have. They will stay with the familiar face of their teacher and will begin to develop their skills at their own pace in a safe and caring environment.
Students aged 6- 17 years (Top Hatters) attend a 3-hour session each week and are divided into stage 2 (6-8 years), stage 3 (9-11 years) and stage 4 (12-17 years). They take part in an hour each of drama, singing and dance (Both Tap & Jazz). All lessons are taught by qualified, experienced professionals. TOP HAT is far more than just a stage school, it is a meeting place where children and teenagers aged 6 - 17 can meet every week and socialise together whilst discovering new talents, and making new friends with common interests.
