Arley Arboretum & Gardens is a hidden gem.
With a wide variety of natural environments to discover, paths that lead to nooks and crannies, towering trees and various ponds and pools, the Arboretum is a magical place for kids to explore. An approved RHS partner garden there are wonderful features including a formal Italian Garden and fountains, a long laburnum arch and beautiful beds and borders.

Severn View:
Watch the Severn Valley Railway trains from the top of Severn View. The perfect spot to watch the steam trains pulling in and out of Arley Station next to the River Severn.
Delmar Adventure Play Trail:
Hidden away in the trees next to the maze our play trail is perfect for children aged 2-12 years. the adventure play area has been designed to be a healthy and physical outdoor challenge to help improve balance, strength, aerobic fitness, co-ordination, risk-taking and team work. Children must be supervised at all times in this area.
Maze:
Check out our amazing hornbeam maze and journey to the end of it, to enjoy the views from the top of the castle in the middle of the maze.
Trails:
There is always a trail to complete, from spotting fairy doors to finding badgers sets and everything in between! The trails are specifically designed to enhance your child’s experience by engaging them in various activities as you follow a carefully designed route around the grounds. Better still, each trail is included* in the cost of your child’s admission. (*unless otherwise stated)
Garden Tea Room:
The Garden Tea Room with indoor and outdoor tables serves craft coffee, a wide selection of teas and soft drinks. We pride ourselves on our fantastic home-made cakes and biscuits and offer a range of light bites if you have worked up an appetite!
Arley Ices:
Our very own ice cream parlour serving locally produced ‘Bennetts’ luxury farmhouse ice cream. We have a great range of flavours catering for all tastes.
Secret Garden & Picnic Area Featuring the Arley Chickens:
Bring your own picnic and enjoy it at one of our many picnic tables located in the walled area we call the Secret Garden.
