A treat for all the family! Enjoy The Secret Garden at Durham Cathedral cloisters this summer.
Sunday 13th August 2023, Doors open 6.30pm
Join young Mary Lennox on a journey of discovery as she is sent to her uncle’s house in the countryside, where mysteries and secrets lurk round every corner, in an enchanting story, loved by children and adults alike. As she makes new friends and encounters magical creatures, Mary has one burning question: where is the location of her uncle’s secret garden, and where has he hidden the key?
This event will take place in the Cathedral Cloister Garth, where you are welcome to bring your own picnic and picnic blankets.
Seats are not permitted on the grassed area of the Cloister Garth however you may bring your own chairs and place them on the paved edged area just inside of the Cloister Wall. The Undercroft cafe will also be open to serve refreshments and beverages if you would like to add tasty treats and snacks to your picnic.
Please note, no dogs are allowed.
