The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts in Darlington

Our weekend performing arts academies offers an incredible variety of classes, ensuring every young person finds their thing. From getting hands on with professional filmmaking equipment in our Film & TV class, to writing their own stand-up comedy shows in Comedy & Drama and learning show-stopping choreography in Musical Theatre.

But at PQA Darlington we don’t just prepare your child to flourish on a stage or behind the camera; we equip them with invaluable skills for the everyday scene.

But beyond the hustle and bustle of a film set or the stage, what we’re really all about is helping children discover their amazing self. All whilst learning and having fun in a safe and inclusive environment. Our mission is to nurture self-belief, empowering young individuals to discover their unique voice and be proudly visible in every aspect of their lives.
