Snow White at Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds

Snow White at Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds

The annual Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds pantomime is one not to be missed – and even more so this year with a very famous voice guest starring as the voice of The Magic Mirror.  Join us in Buryland this Christmas for Snow White.

Boo & hiss at Lady Lucretia (Snow White’s wicked Step-Mother) and Grumble, her snooty butler, as they plot to get rid of Snow White so Lucretia can become Queen.

Fall in love with our feisty Snow who is actually more interested in fixing up her motorbike than becoming Queen!

Swoon over Sir Nicholas of Norwich who thinks he’s ready to find love but is completely unprepared for a woman like Snow.

Belly laugh as the palace cleaner, Dusty Crevice, joins Snow and Gladys the Groom along with seven disaffected and delinquent scouts to form an unlikely team for an assault on the castle, to win back the crown and place the true heir on the throne.

Our Snow White is inspired by the late Queen Elizabeth II. During WWII, Princess Elizabeth was dubbed Princess Auto Mechanic after joining the Auxiliary Territorial Service to train as a mechanic. We love the idea of a young princess, more at home under the bonnet of a car than entertaining dignitaries. Add in Snow White’s pride and joy – a genuine Norton motorbike on stage – and this panto has everything you need for some family festive fun.
