From the 12-27 April (closed 14 and 25 April)
Make sure that your Easter is absolutely cracking!
For this Easter Holiday, embark on an incredible adventure at the Severn Valley Railway, which offers an amazing day out for families of all ages. From the 12 to the 27 April (closed 14 and 25 April), families can experience an unbelievable day out and can create marvellous memories.
Hop on board a heritage diesel or steam-hauled train, and see what you can spot, as you travel past miles of incredible views and stunning stations. Families receive a complimentary EyeSpy booklet to test their powers of observation during the journey.
At Highley, passengers can visit The Engine House Visitor Centre, just a few minutes walk from the station, which boasts interactive games for children. Children can show off their sorting skills in the Travelling Post Office, peek into King George VI’s royal carriage and let off steam outside in the large play area. TrainTime UK will also be at the Engine House with their giant train set (15-17 and 22-24 April), where younger children can have an unforgettable, fun experience, surrounded by real life locomotives and carriages!
The annual Spring Steam Gala (from Friday 18 to Monday 21 April 2025) will also be phenomenal highlight of the Easter Holiday at the Severn Valley Railway. During this four day festival you can catch numerous trains, from our home fleet and new visiting trains. Ride in style all day from 7:55am to the evening!
