Diwali Workshop (7-10 yrs) – Thursday 26th October

Bring your kids (7-10) for a half-term Diwali-themed craft activity.  Join the Merton Asian Women’s Association on a colourful and light-inspired afternoon of creativity and fun and find out all about the Diwali celebration.

This half-term, we’re celebrating the upcoming, festival of light, Divali. Working with Mertons Asian Women’s Association, we’re hosting a fun-filled community arts and crafts session that will connect the local community together on this most celebrated festival of the year for the South Asian community.

Aimed at ages 7-10 years old and their parents/carers, children will come together and learn about the Diwali celebration which marks the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil – something familiar in many cultures.

Through art and family fun, we want to connect to different cultures and the way they celebrate autumn. What better location than Morden Hall Park?
