Make your own chocolate advent calendar
What better way to kick start your festive season than creating your very own, bespoke, delicious chocolate Advent calendar!
Taking place in our Warwickshire chocolaterie, those attending will have the opportunity try their hand (and sticky fingers) at chocolate making, moulding and decorating at least 24 fun festive shapes each.
At the end of the workshop, each guest will take away the chocolate Advent calendar of their dreams, crafted by themselves.
There will be plenty of Christmass-y chocolate cheer along the way (and nibbling). Ideal for guests aged 8 years and above.

Suitable for children (aged 8 years and above) and adults. If you wish to make a calendar along side your child then please book a space for each person attending. Due to space confinements, only those guests with spaces booked and participating in the chocolate making activity will be able to stay during the session.
What will those attending create?
During this workshop guests will, under the guidance of our skilled chocolate leaders, use tempered chocolate to mould at least 24 festive Christmas chocolate shapes each. Each shape can be decorated using our specialist cocoa butter paints before being carefully used to fill an Advent calendar. The trick is not to remember which shape went behind which door, so to add to the surprise in December!
As well as moulding, decorating and Advent calendar filling there will be extra chocolate-y fun! Come along to find out what! 😉 It is guaranteed to be delicious!
Can I stay and watch or bring their brother/sister along too?
The price is inclusive of one person. Due to space limitations we request that siblings do not attend unless a space has been reserved for them. Similarly, we cannot accommodate adults who do not have a space booked during this session in our workshop space but there are a range of shops and food and drink outlets on site for you to enjoy.
However, this promises to be a lovely family activity! Hence we welcome Mums, Dads, Grandparents, friends to book places alongside their children (one place for each person) so you can all join in the fun!
What age range is this suitable for?
The recommended age range for this session is 8 years to adult. Younger children may find it tricky to keep up with the pace of workshop. For children under 5 years, we recommend attending one of our parent and child workshops- booking a space for both yourself and them to create chocolate!
My child/I am is allergic to ….
Unless requested in advance, all participants will be using milk and/or white chocolate. We can accommodate most special dietary requirements but will need at least a weeks notice to ensure suitable alternative ingredients are available. If you have any concerns please contact us prior to booking.
Do they need to bring anything with them?
No, everything will be provided on the day, including an apron. We do recommend however that the children (and adults) don’t wear their finest clothes, just in case there is a spillage. We may also be using our specialist cocoa butter paint (for decorating chocolates) and/or felt tips (for customising packaging) during the session.
What happens next?
After booking, one of our team will be in touch before your workshop with a health and safety form for the responsible adult of the attendee to complete. This is just to ensure that our staff are aware of any allergies or relevant medical conditions so that the session is safe as well as lots of fun!
