Light Up Kingston
Kingston First and Riverside Walk are thrilled to introduce Light Up Kingston, an enchanting light experience set to illuminate Kingston town centre from Thursday 8th February to Sunday 18th February from 4:30pm – 9:30 pm. Enjoy several distinctive light installations throughout the town, including the Ancient Market Place and Riverside, promising a fun evening out for all.
Light Up Kingston is completely free of charge and is perfect for all ages, brightening the chilly February days with these dazzling light installations. It’s a great day out for families looking for low-cost half term activities, the after-work crowd in search of post-daylight enjoyment, and friends seeing the sights of Kingston during an evening of catching up. The timing is also perfect for a Valentine’s Day trip for couples looking for a romantic and magical experience in Kingston upon Thames.
The fun doesn’t just end at the light displays – Kingston First have also partnered with local businesses in the town centre to offer exclusive discounts and offers during the light experience, such as Cote, The Rose Theatre, Kingston Escape Rooms, plus many more! Don’t forget to pick up a postcard from one of the stewards at the light installations and get it stamped to enjoy some of the exclusive discounts offered at your favourite places.
Light Up Kingston is the first of its kind in the town, which aims to encourage a sense of community and celebration in Kingston during the colder months to beat the winter blues!
Kingston First is the town’s Business Improvement District and is responsible for supporting and representing businesses in Kingston town centre and creating a town where businesses thrive and people want to be.
Riverside Walk is made up of six leading restaurants, a hidden oasis in Kingston upon Thames, and boasts panoramic views of the river and Kingston Bridge.
