Kite Weekend
Head on down to Sandwell Valley Visitor Centre this April to experience our kite weekend!
We have teamed up with Sky Bums to offer “Make your own Kite” workshops throughout the day on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April.
Workshops include everything you need to make your very own flight worthy kite onsite here at the Sandwell Valley Visitor Centre with the team from Sky Bums. Workshops are suitable for all ages however please note that children under 5 will need the assistance of an adult to attend the workshop so parents and carers of small children are welcome to share one ticket or purchase two tickets to assist your child while you make your own.
Workshops will be held in the Courtyard where you can also access the tea room, Victorian garden and rabbit village as part of your event ticket. Once you have created your kite you can follow the kite trail around the centre and enter our colouring competition before you head out into the park to test out your creation!
