Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will headline on Sunday 20th August at this year’s Hardwick Festival. Joining a spectacular three-day line up which will also see The Kooks headline the Saturday alongside Freya Ridings, The Vaccines, Melanie C and Nieve Ella.
Hardwick Festival has been extended this year and will run from Friday 18 August to Sunday 20 August will, some of the biggest names in the music industry will appear across the weekend.
They include single songwriter Freya Ridings -who rose to prominence with her hit, Lost Without You,- who will appear on the main stage on Saturday, alongside headliners The Vaccines and The Kooks.
John Adamson, owner of Hardwick Hall, believes it’s a spectacular line-up.
“It’s a huge coup for us to bring Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to Hardwick along with a really amazing range of performers across the entire three days.”

Organisers have also revealed that award winners Scouting for Girls will take to the Treehouse Arena Stage that same night, performing some of their hits such as She’s So Lovely and Heartbeat, which have helped the band sell more than two million records. Their performance will be the climax of a packed day which will also see sessions by From The Jam, led by original Jam member, Bruce Foxton.
The Treehouse Arena as an equally strong line up for Sunday 20 August, headlined by Chicago-based Ten City who will be flying in especially for their performance. Emerging in the 1980s, the band has had a string of hits including Right Back At You and That’s The Way Love Is.

The DJ line-up across the weekend will also see some of the biggest names in the industry head to Hardwick, with more than 20 UK and international performers appearing. On the first day the line-up includes New York-based DJ and house music legend, Dennis Ferrer who also founded cutting edge record label ~Objektivity, along with Sorley, Loeca and DJ Pippi.
On Sunday 20 August Sam Divine, who has performed across Europe and the USA, as well as Low Steppa and electronic house favourite and BBC rising star, Arielle Free.
These new names are added to a constantly growing list of acts which will appear across Hardwick Festival, which this year has been extended and will now launch on August 18 with Hacienda Classical curated by Graeme Park and the Manchester Camerata Orchestra, as well as the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club.
The Friday evening will also see performances in the Treehouse Arena by Smoove and Turrell and DJ Luke Una, one half of the legendary Unabombers DJ duo.
Sunday 20 August will see the main stage filled with a number of big name performances, including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Johnny Marr and The Cribs.
