Beginner’s Sewing Workshop: Get to know a Sewing Machine
Get to know your sewing machine in this two-hour workshop, run by the owner of Alice’s Alterations & Repairs, and online gift shop The Handmade Memory Co. Alice Potter. Make a simple drawstring bag from scratch.
Bring your own machine if you have one, or use one of ours (limited number available). Materials are provided, or upgrade to Christmas fabric to make a gift bag for the festive season. Free refreshments are included!
This workshop is for complete beginners, and you don’t need to bring anything unless you’d like to use your own sewing machine.
Over 9s are welcome, but must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.
