Make & Take at The Tipi at Garsons, Esher: Children’s Easter Events
Join us at Garsons this Easter for fun-filled creative children’s events in our dedicated event space, The Tipi. Session times are 09:30, 11:00 and 13:30. Subject to availability.
TUESDAY 8TH – LEGO MINI FLOWER GARDEN
Children will be able to decorate and create their very own flower garden and plant it with a variety of flower seeds. They will then build some Lego flowers, which will keep a watchful eye over the seeds until they start to grow.
(Age 5+ due to small parts)
WEDNESDAY 9TH – EDIBLE GARDEN & GARDEN TOOL
In this workshop, children will decorate their very own personalised tool and create a mini garden, planting it with a variety of edible plant seeds. They will learn about different seeds before freeing their imaginations with acrylic pens.
THURSDAY 10TH – PAINT YOUR OWN GNOME
Children will paint their very own gnome! The perfect addition for any garden that will carefully and quietly keep a watch on the wildlife.
They will learn about famous fairy tale gnomes and be given advice and inspiration about how to complete their character gnomes.
TUESDAY 15TH – EASTER BUNNY PLANTER POT
With Easter coming soon the children will decorate and plant up their very own planter. Transforming it into a bunny by making ears and their own pom pom tail using felt and wool.
This cute little pot will be a great addition to any Easter celebration!
WEDNESDAY 16TH – PAINT YOUR OWN BIRD BOX
During the session, children will paint their own wooden bird box with an Easter theme. What better way to encourage our feathered friends into the garden than with a beautifully decorated new home.
They will learn about native birds and be given inspiration and advice on how to complete their creations.
THURSDAY 17TH APRIL – SPRING WIND CATCHER
The children will make a beautiful spring-themed wind catcher to hang in the garden or in their rooms.
Learning to tie knots, they will hang ribbons onto a wooden hoop and then add their own decorations using felt, feathers and bells – shoelace tying will never be a problem again!
Sessions are 45-60 minutes.
The recommended age range for activities is 4 – 12 years.
