Looking for free, fun-filled activities for the kids? Stourbridge Library has a fantastic range of events this summer to keep little ones entertained and engaged – from reading and crafts to robotics and interactive games!
📚 Summer Reading Challenge 2025: Story Garden!
Running from Saturday 5 July, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge is a ‘Story Garden’ theme… where magical creatures, wild tales, and the wonders of nature come to life! Kids can read six books of their choice, collect rewards and stickers, and earn a certificate.

🌟 Games Club & Obie Interactive Play Mat
Come along to Games Club and explore the Obie Interactive Play Mat – a sensory experience full of movement, fun, and learning.
📍 Every Saturday | 1pm – 3pm
🟢 No need to book, just turn up!
This digital floor projection reacts to movement, offering children the chance to learn and play in a new, immersive way. A great activity for ages 3+ and the whole family.
🔧 Summer Lego Spike Robotics Workshops
Love Lego? Ready to build AND code? Book onto a Lego Spike session – where children can experiment with robotics and creative tech using the LEGO® Education SPIKE™ kits!
