Easter Egg Hunt
Epping Ongar Railway Easter Egg Hunt taking place from March 29th to April 1st 2024 in Epping, Essex!
When children arrive they will receive a sheet with clues before being asked to find as many numbered eggs as they can on the railway which the naughty Bertie, The Easter Bunny has hidden.
At the end of the visit you can return the sheet to one of the gift shops to receive a special easter treat!
Did you know if eggs were laid along the whole length of the track it would take 131,579 eggs!!
North Weald
The north weald gift shop has a wide selection of gifts which you can purchase. The LNER Cafe will be open offering food & drink.
Children will also be able to enjoy Face Painting at this stop between 10:30am-3pm.
Ongar
At the Ongar stop you can watch the locomotive run around the train, and find the point where all distances on the underground are measured from.
There will be a gift shop open which also serves refreshments.
The Penny Salon Gallery will be open showing a topical photographic exhibition.
