Hop into Art: Paint Your Own Easter Bunny! Tuesday 15 April. 3 x 1-hour workshops at 10:30AM, 12PM & 1:30PM

Join us for a fun and creative Easter painting workshop! Children will paint an adorable Easter bunny holding a basket of colourful eggs in a spring field with blooming flowers and a pastel rainbow. Facilitated by artist Shannon Ward, the session begins with a quick demonstration on painting techniques, colour mixing, and creating the egg basket. Kids will then create their own bunny masterpiece, adding a fluffy pompom tail for a playful 3D touch! Finished paintings can be taken home, and extra paper is available for those who want to keep painting. Perfect for young artists to explore colours and creativity! £5

 Surface, Material and Belonging: Making Camera-less Films Thursday 17 April.  3 x 1 hour workshops at 10:45AM, 12:30PM & 2PM

Make your own camera-less film! The films will be projected at the end of the workshop and you’ll be able to take your film strip home with you. By drawing, mark making and punching holes into blank 16mm film strips, we will collectively make a camera less film. Taking cue from the exhibition Labours of Love, Subjects of State, we will consider the surfaces of the spaces around us, at home, work and in our leisure time. £4

Easter Bunny Clay Craft: Design Your Egg Holder! Friday 18 April (Good Friday). 3 x 1 hour workshops at 10:30AM, 12PM & 1:30PM

Join us for a fun, hands-on Easter clay workshop where children and families can craft their very own bunny-shaped egg holders using air-dry clay! Led by Tamla Pearce, this creative session will teach participants basic clay hand-building techniques, including shaping, attaching bunny features, and adding textures. Kids will design a cute bunny holder to cradle a painted or chocolate egg – perfect as a festive decoration or gift. Each creation can be taken home to dry and, if desired, painted later for a colourful finishing touch. This engaging activity encourages creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic confidence while celebrating the Easter season! £6

 Stand Up for Nature: Kids’ Climate Protest Workshop Monday 21 April. 4 x 1 Hour workshops at 10:30AM, 11:45AM, 1:15PM & 2:30PM

Let your child’s creativity shine while standing up for the planet! In this fun, hands-on workshop, kids will design and create their very own climate change protest placards using colourful paper, collage, and drawing materials. Guided by a practising protest artist, children will explore important environmental issues, express their ideas through art, and end the session with a lively mini protest march around the gallery. It’s a fantastic way for young voices to speak up for nature while having fun and getting creative! £4.50
