Welcome to Wonderland – the most incredible travelling funfair Durham has ever seen!

Eleven-year-old Alice loves helping on the rides with her dad Eric – it’s always been the two of them. Alice’s life is turned upside down when her dad says they are leaving the fair. Confused and sad, Alice feels lost.

But after dark that night, the fair comes alive. Alice is suddenly having an incredible adventure in this strange new Wonderland where everything is topsy-turvy, but Lewis Carroll’s unforgettable characters are there to help her on a journey that will bring her closer to her family than she ever imagined.

Join Alice and your favourite Wonderland characters, from the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter to the Queen of Hearts, for all the fun of the fair this summer as Alice is thrown into a marvellous, magical, musical adventure!

Recommended for ages 5+ and their families, Alice In Wonderland is a heart-warming summer story of fun, friendship, family and finding your place, when you’ve always felt just a little bit different.

There will be accessible performances of Alice In Wonderland including a relaxed performance on Tuesday 8 August, 2pm, and a BSL and captioned performance on Thursday 10 August, 2pm.
