Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney’s protect you and your family
Drawing up a Will can feel like a daunting prospect but it is one of life’s important documents which will give you the most peace of mind. The purpose of a Will is to protect your loved ones should the worst happen.
Sitting down to consider who would be the best guardians for your children is something that should be thought about now, rather than leaving it to the courts. If you were no longer around and there is no Will in place, you wouldn’t have any control as to who would look after your children. The role of a Will is to legally put your wishes down in a document that protects your family.
Sue Mason, of SJM Wills has been a professional Will Writer and has been working with families since 2004. Her friendly nature comes along with a wealth of knowledge that she uses to help guide families when they consider their future wishes and ensure that their estates will be managed in the way her clients have stated. She will also explain what a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is and why everyone should have one alongside their Will.
For your initial meeting, Sue can either come to your home at a time which works for you (evenings and weekends included) or you have the option of the digital route to meet via Zoom or Teams. The first meeting is always a free consultation where all your questions can be answered.

SJM Wills and Associated services client review:
As I didn’t have a will, I asked Sue to come around and after recently having a small child and buying a home, I decided that I really should have one. We didn’t have a clue about Wills, but Sue was so friendly she instantly put us at ease and discussed all the different things to think about in plain English, and she also gave us great advice, which made the whole process so easy. We were delighted with the results.
I would not hesitate in recommending Sue to anyone interested in writing their Will. Review by Andy Clarke
