Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester craft activity sessions and events, using eco friendly and vegan products.
Hello I am Shelley – your local Nature Makers provider! Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester offer nature-inspired art and craft sessions and special events for children and their families, using non-toxic, eco-friendly, vegan products. Our public classes run on weekdays in term time – you can join Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester in Hallow and Droitwich Spa where our classes are suitable for babies aged 6 months up to 6 years. We also have a fortnightly outdoor-only sessions in Broughton Hackett, starting in November; this class is suitable for toddlers aged 18 months+ who love being outdoors and are confident walkers.
All of our classes involve mindful and creative play, art-based activities and observing and learning about the natural world. Our public classes are £5 a session or £5.50 PAYG, siblings come for half price, and siblings under 6 months come for free. New customers can try a lesson at half price and returning customers get priority booking.
Our ethos is all about encouraging mindful creation and nature-based play in order to explore the natural world. We follow a seasonal curriculum; each lesson has a theme and ends with a story or poem. Our sessions are calm and mindful and encourage people to be outside exploring and learning about the natural world. We are passionate about using sustainable, vegan art products and / or natural items to create art and many of our lessons focus on ways to reuse or repurpose items whilst learning about the environment. We also work hard to support our local communities; most notably with our community give-back week and through other partnerships that we have made.
In addition to our classes, Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester also offer parties and special events for children and adults! We work with you to build an event around your chosen season or theme; selecting the right venue for your special occasion and leading you through activities linked to that theme on the day. We already have partnerships with a number of venues in and around Droitwich and Worcester and can create a bespoke party package which suits you or your child(ren).
Another area that Nature Makers Droitwich & Worcester are expanding is our work with nurseries, schools and holiday clubs – we are very proud to work with a number of different educational settings offering sessions to children in and around the county during school holidays.
