Alexander Adventures – activities and experiences

We offer a family multi activity weekend, suitable for children aged 5 and above. This will be taking place between 8^th and 10^th April 2023, as well as 29^th – 31^st May 2023. No previous experience is required to participate in this trip away and all expedition meals will be provided, as well as all of the equipment for activities and camping. This is the perfect opportunity to get into nature as a family and learn new skills. The evenings will be spent feasting around the campfire before heading to sleep. Activities are subject to change due to the weather, however families can expect to do a paddle through the waters of West Scotland and partake in a mini gorge walk.

For families with older children, St Abbs Glamping Adventure would be the perfect Uk Holiday. No previous experience is required, with the trip being suitable for children aged 13 and over. All expedition meals are included, as well as all equipment for kayaking and coasteering. Some of the highlights of the trip include Kayaking hoping to spot some of the infamous Dolphins in the water, as well as paddling past St Abbs Head, National Nature Reserve, home to thousands of sea birds including Kittiwakes and Guillemots.

Alexander Adventures offer a Gorge Walk and Paddle Board Adventure, taking place on the following dates: 27^th May 2023, 24^th June 2023, 27^th August 2023 and 23^rd September 2023. Anyone aged 13 and over can participate in this trip. Some paddleboarding experience is beneficial, however this is not essential. Customers must also be confident being in the water. They will meet at our base in Byker on the day where transport will be provided to the Lake District where this event will be taking place. All equipment is provided on the day too. We will be jumping into water pools, climbing waterfalls and exploring gorges.

We offer a Paddleboard (SUP) and Hiking Day for anyone aged 13 and over, so this would also be great for families with older children too. Once again, all equipment is provided on the day. For this trip, some paddleboarding and mountain hiking/climbing experience is necessary. Meet at our base in Byker as we will provide the transport to the Lake District. Surround yourself with stunning mountain views and join us for a fun filled day of adventure. Current dates for this event: 28^th May 2023, 22^nd July 2023 and 26^th August 2023.
