Children’s Cookery Classes, Workshops & Parties

Karen Elsden from Cook Stars Wolverhampton NEI’m Karen and I am bringing award-winning children’s cookery classes, workshops and parties to Wolverhampton North East.

Offering fun, practical weekly cooking classes for minis (age 2-5) Juniors (age 5-11) and Academy (age 11-17).

I now have the opportunity with Cook Stars to share my passion for food and cooking with children.

Our classes are designed to help children build confidence, independence, develop practical skills and learn about food in a fun and informal environment.

Every child has their own workstation and is provided with an apron, ingredients and all the equipment they need to create delicious dishes from scratch!

  • Buy One Get One Free trial classes so your child can try 2 taster classes.
  • Workshops throughout the year including Mothers/Father’s Day, Easter, Summer workshops, Halloween and Christmas.
  • Looking for a party? We offer 7 fun themed parties including High Tea, Little Italy and Little Cookies. Suitable for boys and girls aged 4+ available at your home or a venue of your choice.

We offer a wide range of recipes, alternating between sweet and savoury dishes each week exploring a variety of ingredients and flavours. We include healthier dishes alongside treats, helping children develop a positive relationship with food and encouraging them to taste and try new things.

About Me!

I have worked as a chef for over 25 years, working in hotels and restaurants both in England and abroad. Working in kitchens far and wide I have cooked many culinary delights.

Recently I have been working in Schools and Outdoor Education Centre’s feeding children and teenagers. Working in these settings highlighted the importance of transferring life skills and eating healthy nutritious food for children.
