Gruffalo Granny Fun Day at Wyre Forest
Step into the deep dark wood this October half term for a special Gruffalo Granny storytelling event at Wyre Forest!
Celebrate the launch of Gruffalo Granny, the brand-new story from Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, with a fantastic day of interactive storytelling, family activities and a very special appearance from the Gruffalo himself!
Families can enjoy storytelling sessions inspired by the new adventure, take part in themed activities and meet the Gruffalo. There’ll also be activity booklets to help children continue the adventure as they explore the forest.
There’s no need to book – simply turn up and join in the fun! Storytelling sessions and Gruffalo meet-and-greets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is recommended as sessions may get busy.
While you’re there, you can also explore the ongoing Room on the Broom Activity Trail, which has some extra Halloween magic throughout October. Look out for magical cauldrons and solve the clues to complete a special Halloween crossword as you follow Witch and her friends through the forest.
And of course, the Gruffalo and his friends are permanent residents of Wyre Forest! Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the woods and see if you can spot the familiar characters hiding among the trees.
