Style 4 Ever DIY Keychain Factory Review

With all the glorious sunshine and high UV levels we’ve been enjoying lately, we’ve been making the most of water play in the garden. But I’ve also been keen to make sure Lily (aged 9) has some fun activities to tempt her indoors during the hottest part of the day.

When the Style 4 Ever DIY Keychain Factory arrived, I knew it would be right up her street!

She was so excited when she spotted the box and couldn’t wait to open it and get everything out. In fact, half the fun for Lily is setting everything up and displaying it all neatly before she even starts creating… something she definitely gets from me!

The set was really easy to put together, and before long she was choosing her colours, beads and charms ready to make her very first creation.

Being the end of the school year, there was only one person her first keyring was going to… her lovely teacher! ❤️ Lily has absolutely loved her teacher this year, so it was really special to make something personal as a thank you gift. Her next creation? That’s already been claimed for herself! And it will include one of the water charms.

One thing that really impressed me was just how much is included in the kit. You can make up to 10 different keyrings or bag charms, so it’s not something that’s finished in half an hour and forgotten about. We spent around 20 minutes making the first one, and there are plenty more designs still to create, making it a great activity that children can come back to over several days.

Lily did need a little help at first learning the braiding technique that she chose, but once we’d worked through it together she soon got the hang of it and was confidently carrying on herself. It’s a lovely activity to do together, especially the first time.

If you’re looking for something creative to keep children entertained indoors this summer, whether it’s escaping the midday heat or simply taking a break from screens, I’d definitely recommend giving the Style 4 Ever DIY Keychain Factory a try. You can purchase it here.

…What have your children been enjoying indoors recently? We’d love to hear your ideas! AND/OR If your child would like to become a Raring2go! toy or activity reviewer (it doesn’t need to be a purchased activity set, it can be a DIY one!); we’d love to feature them in a future issue. Ask them to write a few sentences telling us what they did and what they enjoyed about it, and send it along with a photo to kidderminster@raring2go.co.uk.

We can also feature reviews on books and days out too, so with the summer holidays approaching, it’s the perfect time to get your children involved.

We’re currently putting together our Autumn magazine, out in early October, so there’s all summer to get involved!
