Caribbean Connections at the London Transport Museum

Celebrate Caribbean history and culture at London Transport Museum.
2026 marks 70 years since London Transport began recruiting employees in the Caribbean.
In 1956, London Transport launched a recruitment campaign in the Caribbean, inviting people to work on buses, stations, canteens and track maintenance. Their contribution shaped the city we know today.
