Rainbow’s End Montessori is a family-run nursery & preschool for 2-5yr olds, located in a modern, purpose-built building in the grounds of Parley First School, West Parley, Ferndown. Rainbow’s End is open 8am-5pm with options for all year or term time only attendance.
Rainbow’s End is proud to be graded Outstanding by Ofsted at our last two inspections in both 2018 & 2024.
As a family-run nursery, Rainbow’s End is built on our vision of a happy, caring nursery where every child and family matters. We love inviting parents into our setting for family events such as our Christmas Concert and Graduation, and for parent & child craft sessions where parents can join in with their children and get involved in their child’s early learning.

At Rainbow’s End, children experience our unique School-Ready Curriculum, designed to focus on the key social skills, independence skills and early literacy & numeracy skills that children need for a happy and confident start to school life.
Our children enjoy weekly sessions of music & movement with a visiting teacher from Moo Music, plus weekly sessions of yoga, sports, gardening and cooking.

At Rainbow’s End our teachers use the Montessori learning materials to cover all areas of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), developing practical & sensorial skills and offering an early introduction to phonics, maths and cultural subjects – such as science, nature studies, music, art and topic work – ensuring that our children leave us happy, confident, and ready for school.
