Dick Whittington at Harrow Arts Centre…Harrow’s Biggest Pantomime yet!

DICK WHITTINGTON HARROW ARTS CENTRE

Pantomime returns to Harrow Arts Centre (HAC) and promises to be the most purr-fect way to spend Christmas. Dick Whittington is a high-energy, action-packed adventure bursting with magic, hilarious routines, heaps of audience interaction, spectacular sets, sweets, water guns, and a host of char-toppers which will have you dancing in the aisles!

Immersion Theatre, the multi-award nominated team behind HAC’s much-loved pantomimes, return with their brightest, most spectacular and fun-filled festive treat yet.

Immersion Theatre’s Artistic Director, James Tobias comments “We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing Dick Whittington to Harrow Arts Centre! It has consistently proven to be one of our audiences’ favourites, and we can’t wait to show Harrow exactly why! This year we’re also raising the bar with the incorporation of digital scenery, taking the spectacle to the next level. While people often say each year’s pantomime will be ‘unmissable’, Dick Whittington truly is; it’s a tried-and-tested favourite, specially re-worked for Harrow, and we can’t wait to share this vibrant, high-energy spectacle with families this Christmas!”

This action-packed story follows Dick Whittington as he ventures to London in search of fame and fortune. Once there, he meets a host of larger-than-life characters including the funkiest of felines: Timmy the Tom Cat, and the inimitable Cecily Sweetlove (watch out gents!) Together, they embark on an exciting adventure as our leading man tries to make a name for himself in the bright lights of the big city!

If only he knew that deep beneath those streets paved with gold, in the murky depths of the sewers, the villainous King Rat and his rodent army were conjuring a plan to take over London and enslave humanity!

This 2-hour extravaganza will play from 6 – 30 Dec at various times in the Elliott Hall theatre.

Tickets are £20 / £17 concessions or £68 family/group tickets.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets for Harrow’s biggest pantomime; it’s the perfect treat for the whole family whether you’re 4 or 104…oh, yes it is!
