Jam Coding half term fun at Blackwell Adventure

Hello, and thank you for your interest in our October Tech Camp! We can’t wait to share all the exciting activities we’ve planned.

I’m Dan, a professional coder and animator with over 25 years’ experience in film, TV and games — working with Aardman Animation, the BBC and Electronic Arts, to name but a few. I’m also the Area Director for Jam Coding Birmingham South, and over the years I’ve taught hundreds of children digital skills in schools and clubs.

I’ve assembled an amazing team of passionate educators who run school clubs during term time and bring that same energy and care to our camps. Together, we create a fun, safe and inspiring environment where every child can learn, explore and thrive. We’ve already helped hundreds of children discover their passion for STEM, build confidence in problem-solving and develop skills that will serve them well into the future.

Our October half-term tech camp isn’t just about screen time – it’s about creative problem-solving, building real projects, and making lifelong friends. We blend hands-on coding, robotics, and STEM challenges to create an unforgettable learning adventure that builds confidence, creativity, and technical skills. Balanced with plenty of off-screen time games, teamwork and supervised play.
