Apple Picking & Pressing Dagenham

Apple Picking & Pressing Dagenham will be hosted by Company Drinks in the Valence House Orchard. Here you can get to know the apple trees. Learn how to carefully harvest apples in a sustainable way. Then process the apples by hand into the freshest juice you have ever had!​
This is a hands-on afternoon using a press and scratter to create the juice.​

Apple Picking & Pressing Dagenham is a fun day of apples, come and learn about the apple orchard in the Valance house gardens, speak to the ranger about the care of apple orchards. Then you can harvest some of the apples in a way that doesn’t harm the tree.

All that picking will be thirsty work though, so you can then scrat (grate) and press the apples into juice, and you drink them too!

This is a drop-in session, we will be in the orchard from 11-3 pm

There is a cafe onsite that sell drinks and snacks
