Play World is ready to welcome kids for summer of fun

If your kids have energy to burn this summer, Play World at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre is the perfect way to keep them active and entertained.

Play World is a fantastic indoor soft play and play centre for children up to 12 years old.

It has dedicated play areas for juniors, under-5s and babie

s, with a comfortable seating area for parents.

The junior area is suitable for 5-12 year olds and includes three tiers of crawl tubes, scramble nets, a four-lane astro slide, climbing wall, football zone, ball pool with ball shower, ball cannon zone, aerial glide and much more.

A designated zone for children aged four and below includes a baby area. This comprises a unique soft play frame containing slides, crawl tubes, an interactive piano, trike area and ball pool, all designed to encourage imaginative play.

Play World is open seven days a week, with a 90-minute session costing £6 for 1-2 year olds and £9.25 for 3-12 year olds, with no charge for accompanying adults.

Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre is run by award-winning operator Everyone Active in partnership with Mid Suffolk District Council.

Paul Robson, Everyone Active’s contract manager, said: “Keeping physically active during the summer holidays is hugely important and Play World is a brilliant facility for kids to do just that.

“There is a huge variety of activities to keep them entertained and we would encourage people to book early to secure their places.”

Elsewhere this summer, Everyone Active is bringing back its Everyone is Family campaign, offering family-friendly activities for just £2 per person.

Running from Saturday, July 19 to Wednesday, September 3, the national campaign will offer something for all ages – which includes family swimming at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre. The aim is to give families more opportunities to spend quality time together, without the barrier of high costs.

“School holidays can be a challenging time for parents, especially when budgets are tight,” added Paul Robson. “We want to provide a welcoming and affordable space where families from local communities can be active, have fun and make memories together.”

Families can also sign up for a free Family Activity Plan, which includes more than 50 simple challenges to try at home or outdoors, along with healthy recipes.
