At The Code Zone, we want to bridge that gap!

Our online coding clubs provide a fun and unique way of learning to code through having fun and playing games. With the support of our STEM-Certified mentors, check out a new game every single week and transform it by following coding tutorials (aka “Guided Hacks”). There’s always something new to build from power-ups to super lasers, and members also have the opportunity to put their own ideas into their games.

Our clubs are suitable for children ages 6 and up and your child will be part of a club with children who are at a similar stage of their coding journey. Progress through our levelling system at your child’s own pace, and earn printable awards when you level up, so that you can keep track of your progress as you become a coding expert.

We offer a range of different clubs so that there’s something suitable for everyone. Game Dev Club is our live option where members join a video call with their mentor at a regularly scheduled time every single week. Hack the weekly game, share ideas, and show off your work to the group at the end of each session. Game Dev Club is perfect for those who want extra support with the added fun of a live club environment.

With Game Dev Academy, members get access to all of the same content but without the live video call. Instead, your mentor will send you video messages throughout the week and will also send personalised video responses to any questions that you may have! This means that Game Dev Academy is perfect for those who prefer to learn at their own pace and aren’t able to commit to the same club time every single week.

All memberships with The Code Zone also come with Minecraft Mod Worlds! Minecraft Mod Worlds contains new worlds to explore, NPCs to interact with, and coding quests to complete. Building mods completely transform your game, and we’ve also given you a special in-game item called ‘The Code Phone’ that keeps hold of a whole range of mods that you can build at any time. Plus, all Minecraft Mod Worlds accounts come with a parent account so that parents and children can code together.

Our goal is to make coding both fun and accessible, which is why our memberships start from as little as £5 per month which includes Minecraft Mod Worlds. We also offer FREE taster sessions in our live clubs so that you can decide if our clubs are right for you before committing.
