Let’s hear it for our zoo underdogs!
This February half-term, we’re shining a spotlight on some of our less-famous zoo residents! While you love the otters, monkeys, and meerkats (and so do we!), it’s time to meet some other amazing animals you might have missed before.
Get to know our zoo underdogs and who knows, maybe you’ll leave with a new favourite animal?
Join us from 17th – 23rd February, between 11am – 3:30pm for extra activities celebrating our underdog animals!
Hand’s on fun: 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 3:30pm

Crafts, games and activities in the The Hive cabin, including badge and keyring making and seed-bomb making.
Get to know the underdogs! – 1:45pm at The Hive Cabin

No fur or feathers? No problem! Get to know some our zoo’s unsung heroes in an underdog animal meet and greet. Come face to face with some of our invertebrates and learn how fantastic they really are!
Underdog keeper talks! – Various times throughout the day

This week it’s time to put some of our lesser-known zoo residents in the spotlight. Listen to the keepers tell all about some our fascinating animals who you might often overlook with new keeper talks added to the daily schedule.
Reptile Bingo! – Pick up a bingo card from the Hive cabin
