Drop-in during opening hours. All ages welcome.
Create bird cages and colourful endangered birds using recycled papers, newspaper, cardboard and crayons.
Inspired by Young Ornithologist by Yinka Shonibare CBE on Floor 3.
MINI MAKERS
Get creative, explore art materials and build fine motor skills.
Tuesday 18 February
Arty Hearts
Use brushes, forks, spoons and sponges to paint onto heart shaped card and stencils.
11am-1pm

Rope Coasters
Make rope and wind it into a coaster with artist Alice Burnhope.

Learn new techniques in a mix of mediums and take away a masterpiece!

Session 1
Natural Dye Painting
Paint with natural dye inks onto textiles with artist Alice Burnhope.
Suitable for ages 4+

Session 2
Hapa Zome
Plant and flower printing (hammering technique).
Suitable for ages Age 7+
