This Christmas at Claremont, see Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy-tale, The Snow Queen, brought to life, in our Snow Queen Family Trail at Claremont Landscape Garden.
In this classic story of good versus evil, Kai has been kidnapped by the Snow Queen and Gerda, his friend embarks on an adventure to save him. Come and join Gerda on this extra special trail around the lake at Claremont on her quest to rescue Kai from the Snow Queen’s palace. The garden will be transformed into the magical outdoor world with installations reflecting key scenes from the story with activities to try along the way.
Claremont is the perfect picturesque landscape to get you into the festive spirit. Meet up with family and friends in this historic royal garden. Come and explore our fairy tale family trail, The Snow Queen, while taking in beautiful winter vistas and sparkling lights making Claremont a very special place to visit at this time of year.
The free trail runs from 25 November until 2 January, 10am-2.30pm. (Normal admission applies)
Park and Ride
Over the Christmas period, a park-and-ride will be in operation on selected dates. If the main car park is busy, you can park just up the road at ACS International School, Portsmouth Road, KT11 1BL, where a shuttle bus will transport you to Claremont every 15 minutes for free.
