Ipswich’s much-loved Christchurch Park fireworks display is back for 2026, with a spectacular new twist as cutting-edge laser technology joins the fireworks for an unforgettable Halloween celebration.

Organisers of the town’s long-running fireworks display have announced details of this year’s event, which takes place on Saturday 31 October. Promising an evening packed with fireworks, music, entertainment and Halloween fun, the Halloween Fireworks Spooktacular is set to transform Christchurch Park into a spectacular family-friendly celebration.

Organised by the 11th Ipswich Scout Group, which has staged the event since 1972, the annual fireworks display is the group’s biggest fundraising activity of the year.
