The Grand Finale – Outlaw Style
Summer’s just around the corner and that can only mean one thing in Sherwood Forest – the Robin Hood Festival.
This year’s event – the 37th Festival to be held here – will take place over 14 days, across five weekends.
We’ll have spectacular arena shows, outdoor cinema, re-enactment, comedy, magic, music and much more.
The Sherwood Outlaws bring the festival to a close with their all-action arena show as we celebrate the Nottinghamshire Day Festival at Sherwood once again.
There’ll be much to champion about all that’s great and good about the outlaw’s county with traders and performers on Saturday 26th August, although Robin himself will have his hands full all weekend
Will the Sheriff of Nottingham’s troops get the better of the outlaws in combat. Or will Robin and his Merry Band prove too skilled with the blade and the bow?
The Medieval Maniax bring back their unique brand of madcap mayhem and Bill Brookman will once again deliver some wonderfully entertaining sillyness at the Major Oak.
We’ll have historical re-enactment from The Ferrers Household and the College of Chivalry.
Storytellers Past Imagined will be back again, as will the wonderful Medieval melodies of Sloe Gin.
