Join Aphra Shemza in our shemza.digital drop in. Create your own digital painting to take home with you, based on the work of Anwar Jalal Shemza.
Book a slot between 10.30am-4.00pm. Pay what you can. Suitable for ages 5 to 16
Hands on art activities
Wednesday 22 February
Play with shapes, patterns and colours to create a fantastic geometric artwork, then fold it to make a vibrant imaginary 3D space with artist Rob Conway.
Thursday 23 February
Take the challenge to create a collaged city using only circles and squares, paint multiple magical moons to light up the sky. Inspired by Anwar Jalal Shemza’s painting ‘City at Morning, Noon and Night’, with artist Sam Mace.
Friday 24 February
Join artist Benny Semp and create a collagraph print inspired by the cityscapes of Anwar Shemza. Drop in between 10.30am – 1.30pm. £3 per child, book online or pay on the day. Suitable for ages 5 to 12.
