A two-day event fit for a King – or Queen – will take place at Atria Watford to mark The Queens’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
On Thursday 2 June and Friday 3 June, look out for the Royal Guards as they march up and down the mall saluting everyone they meet. But they’re no ordinary guards, The Queen has given them strict instructions to teach little soldiers the art of a good march – and a dance. Join them in with fun and games for all and don’t forget to grab a soldier selfie.
Bring the whole family to Atria on Thursday 2 June and watch The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour) on the Big Screen in the atrium. More than 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians will come together in the traditional Parade to mark The Queen’s official birthday.
Beginning at Buckingham Palace, the Parade will move down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, joined by members of the Royal Family on horseback and in carriages. The Parade will close with the traditional RAF fly-past, watched by The Queen and members of the Royal Family from the Buckingham Palace balcony. Grab a deck chair and join friends in the atrium to mark this special moment in history.
