Review-Halloween fun day out at Hatton
We had the most wonderful day visiting Hatton Adventure World for their very first day of the Halloween season!
As we entered we were met by very friendly witches and wizards who were very keen to get us started on our adventure. The sun was shining so we made the most of the outdoors and headed to the play area to run off the car journey. Swings, slides, trampolines and trucks were the perfect start to the day, next stop was seeing the animals followed by visiting our favourite animals- the pigs! We watched the piglets for ages as they fed and played with each other. In between each area we managed to get our halloween leaflet stamped by various characters who were very charming given that we had a two year old with us who wasn’t quite sure of what to make of their antics! We were a bit tired after that and thought it was the perfect time to go on the tractor ride around the fame where we could see the amazing pumpkin field, horses and the noisy donkeys.
We was having so much fun that we almost forgot to stop for lunch but a rumbling tummy soon reminded us to head over to Snorty’s Barn for a well deserved cuppa and delicious jacket potato. We then headed to see the Fluorescent Frights which were great fun but if you have little ones go inside and check it out first but it was bright and well thought out. Next was craft time where we coloured in halloween hats and found another with who stamped are leaflet that enabled us to get a treat on the way out. We quickly headed to the Monster Mash disco for a quick boogie before we made our way to the pumpkin field to pick the perfect pumpkin. We then took it to the pumpkin carving tent where we attempted to carve a smiley face as we wanted a friendly pumpkin.
My little granddaughter was getting a little bit tired so we decided to head off home but we could of easily spent the whole day at Hatton as there was so much to do! We thought it was excellent value for money and will be returning again very soon for another fab family day out.
Congratulations to Hatton on another successful Halloween season!
