RAF Museum Midlands Named Among the UK’s Leading Museums by Which?
The RAF Museum Midlands has been recognised as one of the UK’s top museums, achieving joint first place in the latest Which? ‘Best Museums and Galleries’ survey.
Based on feedback from more than 2,000 Which? connect members, the Museum received an outstanding score and was awarded Which? Recommended Provider status — a distinction reserved for organisations that consistently demonstrate excellence in both quality and visitor experience.
The results highlight a strong performance across multiple areas. Visitors rated the Museum highly for the quality and impact of its exhibitions, as well as for value for money. Staff were also recognised for their contribution to the overall experience, while the site’s extensive hangars and outdoor spaces were noted for providing a comfortable, uncrowded environment.
In its 2026 report, Which? singled out several of the Museum’s key attractions, including the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant V-bombers, as well as the BAC TSR-2 prototype. Interactive elements, such as the Virtual Reality Zone, were also highlighted for enhancing visitor engagement.
This latest recognition reinforces the RAF Museum Midlands’ position as a leading cultural and heritage attraction, offering a high-quality, accessible experience that continues to resonate strongly with visitors from across the UK.
