Harrow Arts Centre has put together a vibrant programme packed with theatre, live music, and creative workshops, offering something for children of all ages. Whether your little ones are budding performers, hands-on makers, or simply love a magical story, there’s plenty to enjoy this autumn!
The Zoo That Comes to You – Monday 27 October, 2pm
Meet two friendly zookeepers and their remarkable animals in this heart-warming show about conservation and caring for creatures great and small. With puppetry, live music, and playful characters, the animals decide it’s time to get out, explore the world, and bring their zoo to you! Ideal for ages 5+, this imaginative performance is a perfect introduction to live theatre.
Halloween in Concert – Saturday 25 October, 4pm
Experience the thrill of Halloween brought to life through music! The Audentior Symphony Orchestra presents a spooktacular family concert, featuring eerie classics and popular favourites. From Danse Macabre and Phantom of the Opera to Wicked and Ghostbusters, the programme promises a mix of spine-tingling fun and sensational live performance. Fancy dress is encouraged – so bring along your little witches, ghouls, and goblins for a festive musical adventure the whole family will remember!
Family Printmaking Workshop – Saturday 25 October, 10:30am–12:30pm
Celebrate your family’s stories through the timeless art of block printing. In this intergenerational workshop, families will explore drawing games, experiment with printmaking techniques, and design their own unique artwork to take home. Guided by an experienced facilitator, this hands-on session is perfect for ages 6+ and requires no prior experience – just imagination!
SEND Clay Creatures Workshop – Thursday 30 October, 9:30am–12:30pm
A calm and welcoming session designed especially for families with children and young people who have SEND. Together you’ll create fantastical clay creatures, exploring textures, shapes, and your own creativity. All materials are provided, and every participant will take home their handmade creation as a special keepsake.
