Flora Fields – Pick-Your-Own (PYO) Dahlias at Webbs Wychbold

This summer, the spectacular Flora Fields returns to Webbs, Wychbold in the heart of Worcestershire, offering visitors a joyful and immersive pick-your-own (PYO) dahlia experience amongst over 5,000 dahlias, in more than 60 vibrant varieties.   

Inspired by co-owner, Louise Webbs’ cherished memories of pottering in the garden with her daughter, Flora, when Flora was little, gathering tulips, alliums, peonies, sweet peas, and dahlias with which to sweetly scent their home. The joy of these memories sparked the concept of Flora Fields experience and a desire to offer families the same experience on a larger scale, which is fast becoming one of the region’s most picturesque and feel-good days out of the summer. 

Now in its second year, Flora Fields reflects the heart of the Webbs brand – family, horticultural heritage, and a deep-rooted connection to the beauty of the British landscape. Founded in the 1850s as a seed merchant business by Edward Webb, Webbs has grown into one of the UK’s most respected and trusted names in gardening. From supplying seeds to British monarchs to cultivating beautiful spaces today, Webbs continues to celebrate its horticultural legacy through experiences like Flora Fields – a living, blooming expression of its values and history. 

Visitors to Flora Fields at Webbs are invited to enjoy a relaxed two-hour visit, strolling through rows of dazzling colour, selecting and snipping their favourite stems to take home.  Choose from the Bouquet (10 stems), the Centrepiece (20 stems) or go big with the Showstopper (80 stems) for the ultimate floral arrangement. 

For those who prefer to simply soak up the beauty, entry-only tickets to the field are also available.  While you’re there, don’t forget to snap a photo with the much-loved bright pink tractor – a favourite for visitors of all ages.  

 

Prosecco Picnics and Classic Cream Teas 

Why not enhance your time amongst the dahlias with a delicious, pre-ordered picnic? Choose from a tempting selection of sweet and savoury grazing boxes or a classic cream tea, paired with a bottle of chilled prosecco, plus a choice of teas, coffees and soft drinks.  

Picnics over £25 are beautifully presented in a premium picnic hamper, complete with a blanket – perfect for relaxing amongst the blooms. Or, if you prefer a little shade, you can chill out in the cosy, fairy lit tipi. 

Celebrating something special? Book the private luxury Flora Fields Horsebox for a more exclusive experience – ideal for toasting with friends and family, while enjoying sweeping views of the dahlia field.
