Bishop Auckland Food Festival

Bishop Auckland Food Festival returns on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025 for a fabulous weekend of fun, food and family entertainment.

In the amazing cookery theatre, this year’s fabulous line-up of celebrity chefs includes chef and Sunday Brunch co-presenter Simon Rimmer; food writer, photographer and blogger Jane Dunn (Jane’s Patisserie); MasterChef 2024 champion Brin Pirathapan; TV judge and pastry chef Cherish Finden; Italian chef Francesco Mattana and master chocolatier Paul A Young. Joining the chefs, our host for the weekend is crowd favourite and TV presenter, Chris Bavin.

Entry to the festival (including the mouth-watering demonstrations from the celebrity chefs) is completely free and there’s no need to book – just take a seat and enjoy!

The wonderful traders will of course be offering an incredible selection of delicious produce to indulge in across the weekend and lots of fantastic products to take home and enjoy later! With many local favourites and new companies too, you can visit your favourites and discover some amazing new ones.
