Give a gift to make someone’s day
This Christmas you could send gifts that will truly make someone’s day. Provide vital support for children and adults with physical and learning disabilities, and their families supported by disability charity, Diverse Abilities.
The charity’s Christmas Shop offers a range of virtual gifts to provide support across the whole charity. Gifts start at £9 to give a child with profound physical and learning disabilities the chance to participate in a Sensory Sport session. Gifts also include a sensory sleepover for £16, or a special Christmas Meal for £14. With every virtual gift purchased you will receive a card with an insert showing how your Christmas donation has made a difference to someone who is supported by Diverse Abilities. You can then gift this card to a loved one for Christmas, showing the impact that your donation in their honour has made this Christmas.
Helen Mortimer, head of fundraising at Diverse Abilities, commented: “We are really excited to reopen our Christmas Shop for the second year running to give people chance to give a Christmas gift that lives beyond the festive season. Through the Christmas Shop on our website you can browse our Christmas gifts and find out a bit more about who your donation will support and the difference it will make for them.”
Buy your gift online at diverseabilities.org.uk/christmasshop until Wednesday 18 December.
