Santa is super busy over the next couple of months but we’ve managed to track down his diary so that we can share with you the times and places where you will find him in and around Solihull and Warwickshire. Be sure to book your visit in soon so that you can let him know what is on your wish list this year.
16 November – 24 December: Magic Alley – Once Upon a Christmas
Journey deeper into a magical land, the air is filled with the melodies of festive songs, leading you to the most cherished of all encounters – a visit with Father Christmas himself. His hearty laughter echoes through the crisp air, warming hearts even on the chilliest of nights. This is not just any place; it’s a realm where dreams are born and memories are made, where every moment is wrapped in the pure magic of Christmas. So, gather your loved ones and step into a storybook adventure that you’ll hold dear for a lifetime, for “Once Upon a Christmas” is more than an event—it’s a gateway to a world where the spirit of Christmas lives on forever. Different timed sessions run for children of different ages and those with SEN.
22 November – 24 December: West Midlands Safari Park – Santa Safari
With an allocated time to see Santa, you will be greeted in the Discovery Trail by one of his helpful Elves who will magically transport you to the North Pole. New for this year is Santa’s Enchanted Elevator – a magical journey transporting you to the heart of the North Pole. Finally, you will arrive at Santa’s Grotto, so all that’s left to do is ring the magical doorbell and meet the big man himself. Head to one of the festive food outlets, to pick up your complimentary refreshments and don’t forget to pop to Mrs Claus’s Craft Club to make reindeer food and write your letter to Santa.
23 November: SYDNI Centre Winter Fayre
Come along to the SYDNI Centre Winter Fayre and meet Santa or start your Christmas shopping at the stalls. Cafe open.
23 November – 23 December: Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway – Santa Express
Selected dates. Step into a world where the wonder of Christmas comes alive, where the joy of the season is wrapped in the rhythmic chug of a vintage steam train. Get ready for an enchanting adventure as we transport you to the North Pole and back. A beautifully restored steam train, adorned with festive decorations, sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. As you settle into your comfortable seat, the train whistles, and the journey begins, winding through the picturesque landscapes of the Cotswolds. When you get to ‘The North Pole’ you are invited to see Santa, the children receive a present from Santa and his elves – there are refreshments included in the price.
23 November – 24 December: Touchwood – Santa’s Grotto
Santa is back in residence at Touchwood this year at his enchanted Christmas grotto. He’s eagerly waiting to receive wish lists and will even have an early gift for your little ones. Be sure to book online so the elves can reserve your space.
23 November – 31 December: Drayton Manor – Christmas Wonderland
Make epic memories at Drayton Manor Resort this Christmas. Packed full of festive family fun, the heart of the theme park will be decked with trees, lights and so much more creating the perfect Christmas Wonderland. Enjoy your favourite rides in Thomas Land (and a few bonus rides as a festive treat!), stroll through the zoo and, brand new for 2024: Festive Light Train, Rusty and Dusty’s Hot Chocolate Factory and Celebration Square – sparkling with a special Christmas glow and filled with festive treats, warming fire pits, live music and entertainment. And of course, no visit would be complete without a meet and greet with Santa!
30 November – 24 December: Hatton Adventure World – Enchanted Christmas Kingdom
Weekends from 30 November then daily from 21 December. Step into a world of wonder and magic, where dreams come to life and festive enchantment knows no bounds. A festive extravaganza that promises to be the highlight of your Christmas season. Immerse yourself in the enchanting activities, delicious food, and visiting Father Christmas in his woodland grotto. Visit the glowing 3D forest, North Pole postal station, gingerbread factory and make your own reindeer food.
7 – 8 & 14 – 15 December: Blists Hill Victorian Town – Christmas Weekends
The festive spirit returns to Blists Hill Victorian Town this Christmas. Stroll through the town’s streets, filled with traditional decorations, and listen out as festive music from a band and choir ring out through the air. Take the kids to visit one of the four Christmas Grottos, in unique settings like the Victorian mine and sawmill. Or they can take lessons to learn how to be a Christmas Elf in the Victorian schoolroom. Learn about Christmas past from the town’s costumed demonstrators and enjoy live entertainment during the panto-style show. Last-minute shoppers will be able to take advantage of the Christmas Emporium to buy unique gifts and stocking-fillers including delicious foods and local-made crafts.
