Picture this: a thrilling parade of larger-than-life sculptures, each one a unique masterpiece of artistry, depicting the legendary Birmingham Bullring Bull. But wait, there’s more! These majestic sculptures aren’t just static displays; they’re part of an exhilarating, free-for-all adventure trail designed to thrill families and tourists alike!

A herd of 40 bull sculptures, sponsored by local businesses, will stomp around the city next summer, all to raise money for Birmingham Hospice. Every pound raised during this epic event will go towards providing essential care and support for people and families living with a terminal diagnosis.

Businesses, artists, schools and community groups are invited to join the Bulls in the City herd by either sponsoring a bull, creating a design, fundraising to adopt your own calf or just visiting the trail once it’s live.

Iconic Brummy businesses and organisations have already signed up to sponsor a sculpture, including Selfridges, Brindley Place and Paradise, DLA Piper, MHA and Salts Healthcare, as well as local BIDS including Harborne and Central. Sponsorship opportunities are extremely limited, so businesses are encouraged to sign up soon!

More than 50 schools and community groups have joined the stampede and have gotten underway with their fundraising ready to adopt and design their very own bull calf.

Rebecca Richards, Senior Events Manager at Birmingham Hospice, said the trail is an incredible opportunity for local businesses to support the hospice.

“Due to the national funding crisis affecting all hospices in the UK this year, it’s more important than ever we raise vital funds and awareness for our charity,” she said.

“Bulls in the City will be fantastic for our charity, but it’s also a great opportunity for local businesses to get involved in what is set to be the biggest and best art trail our city has ever seen!”
