Pizza Express St Albans set to put on a show following remodel
Following a recent remodel, family favourite pizzeria, PizzaExpress St Albans, is ready to serve pizza with pizzazz for returning and new customers.
Having long been a favourite with locals and visitors alike since first opening nearly 28 years ago, PizzaExpress St Albans is located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from the famed St Albans Cathedral, making the restaurant the perfect destination for a delicious meal after a day spent exploring the city.
Inside, customers will find unique artwork by Italian interior designer Enzo Apicella, who worked with PizzaExpress’ founder Peter Boizot to create some of the brand’s iconic aesthetics. Upon entering the newly remodelled pizzeria, guests will see the open kitchen, which takes centre stage as Pizzaiolos provide a touch of culinary theatre as they knead and flare dough, before topping it off with fresh ingredients.
Ready to provide a meal and a show to returning and new customers, PizzaExpress St Albans’ General Manager, Indra Slisane, and the restaurant’s 26 dedicated team members, are excited to show off their remodelled pizzeria. Indra said, “We’re looking forward to welcoming customers to our new-look restaurant. Not only do we have an outstanding team, we also have a delicious new summer menu, and we can’t wait to serve pizza with pizzazz in our vibrant new setting.”
Customers will also find iconic flavours on the brand’s summer menu, including the return of the fan-favourite fiery Dynamite Dough Balls, along with three flavoursome new Buddha Bowls: Goat’s Cheese & Beetroot, Crispy Chicken, and Vegan. There are also hearty Al Forno options, including the creamy Carbonara PizzaExpress, and the delicious Prawn Peperonata. The menu also includes two delectable new desserts: the indulgent Biscoff Billionaire Sundae and the refreshing Summer Berry & White Chocolate Sundae.
Along with iconic favourites as well as veggie, vegan and gluten free options, the pizzeria is also serving up something for the whole family this summer, launching Kids Eat Free from 22nd July – 11th August, giving every child a FREE Piccolo meal – a three-course feast made up of all their favourites, from Dough Balls to pizza or pasta, plus desserts and a bambinoccino – with every adult main purchased in restaurants.
